The Frankfurt Book Fair 2011 was an incredible event – 200,000 (or so) people talking all things books. The city was alive with publishing-folk, and the fair was crammed to the brim with visitors from all over the world.

This year Iceland was the country of honour, and created an incredible hall featuring movie screen sized videos of people simply reading. Whilst hard to capture on our dark photos, we found this short video by Publishing Perspectives that gives you a little insight.

I’ve heard many great things about Iceland and for a country of not many people, they continue to create such amazing literature, art and music. This exhibition made you feel like you HAVE to visit… asap!
