When I was planning our wedding, I found it so hard to dig through the many cheesey wedding websites in Australia, to find some good inspiration for our fairly homemade wedding. Through my searches I did finally find a few good websites which I thought I’d share for someone just starting out, singing some wedding praises… later I’ll be posting some links to some great Melbourne suppliers that we used (or I’ve found since then).

Once Wed

This American site is full of image lushness, the above photo from a Autumn inspired post. The weddings they cover are beautiful and their collection of “inspiration boards” are great. You can search by colour/style themes and find something to tickle your fancy I’m sure.

Oh Lovely Day

A more vintage inspired, home made collection of ideas and cute real weddings. An example of how to make your own bouquet above!

Polkadot Bride

An Australian (yay!) collection of real weddings, sharing details of decor, dress, photographer etc as well as some great Australian suppliers.
